Our MISSION
Self Empowerment through Education (SEED) provides young people from rural Zambian communities with limited resources the opportunity to obtain teacher certification.
SEED Quick Facts
Self Empowerment through Education (SEED) was established by a group of returned Peace Corps volunteers who wish to give back to the communities which cared for them during their service in Serenje, Zambia, Africa.
SEED provides full-ride scholarships to teacher training college for two selected students each year, over a 3-year program (6 students/year).
We are a completely volunteer run organization, 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting the students.
